CyberNEMO
OUR PROJECTS
CyberNEMO is an innovative project based on NEMO, a next-generation meta-operating system designed to create a unified IoT-Edge-Cloud ecosystem. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things, the project aims to strengthen Europe’s digital autonomy in data management while reducing the environmental impact of technological infrastructures. In an era of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, CyberNEMO introduces advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect critical infrastructures in the energy, healthcare, media distribution, and supply chains in the agrifood and fintech sectors.
The project develops a model that integrates Zero-Trust principles with AI-based technologies, ensuring a multi-layered approach to threat detection and mitigation. CyberNEMO’s solutions apply to large-scale interconnected systems, protecting them from both complex cyberattacks and human errors. Six pilot programs in real-world scenarios will test and validate these solutions, ensuring scalability and effectiveness. The project goes beyond technical innovation by strengthening the resilience and long-term security of Europe’s digital infrastructures, contributing to the protection of citizens, businesses, and strategic resources.
CyberSocial Lab. (CSL) plays a key role in ensuring responsible data management, privacy, and security policies within CyberNEMO, contributing to implementing an advanced technological component to better manage data privacy, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations.
We assess the social impact of digital transformation, ensuring that the project complies with European regulations on fundamental rights, democracy, and human dignity.
We are also committed to promoting digital inclusion and the reduction of the digital divide, ensuring that the solutions developed are accessible to all. We collaborate with European institutions and industry leaders to promote ethical data and technology management, contributing to a safer, more inclusive, and resilient digital society.
