CyberSocial Lab. took part in the 10th STS Italia Conference – Technoscience for Good: Designing, Caring, and Reconfiguring, held at Politecnico di Milano from June 11–13, 2025. The core question of this year’s edition was: what does it mean to do technoscience for good – and for whom?
Over three days, the CyberSocial Lab. team contributed to the international conversation on how to design and govern emerging technologies in ways that align with fundamental rights, European values, and the public good. The focus was on critically and constructively exploring tools and strategies to support more just, inclusive, and sustainable technological futures.
Margot Bezzi and Lucas Pereira Carwile presented research developed within the 6G4Society project. Their talk examined the tensions between innovation, sustainability, and governance in the development of next-generation communication infrastructures. A valuable opportunity to share insights and explore how to foster a more equitable relationship between society and technology.
